How to take Backup of 24online

Its a Good Practice to take 24online Backup Every Month so incase of Hardware Failure we can restore the Configurations and Logs in new 24online Server.

We should take below Backup:-
✦ System Data
✦ Backup User Session
✦ Backup RRD
✦ Backup Logs

So lets start!!!

System Data

System Data will take the backup of pools, policies, packages etc

Click on System Configuration -> Manage Data -> Backup

Backup System data (Does not include Logs and user session)
Take Backup of System Data till date	Click on Backup -> OK -> OK
Download last backup created on DATE, TIME	Once the Data & Time is changed to Current Date and Time Click on Download Button

Backup User Session

Backup User Session will take the backup of sessions created by users

Click on System Configuration -> Manage Data -> Backup

Backup User Session
Take Backup of User Session Start Months DATE End Month DATE	Select Start Months and End Months and Click on Backup -> OK -> OK
Download last User Session backup created on DATE, TIME	Once the Data & Time is changed to Current Date and Time Click on Link below to down User Session Backup

Backup RRD

Backup RRD will take the backup of different types of graphs files in the system.

Click on System Configuration -> Manage Data -> Backup

Backup RRD
Take Backup of RRDs till date	Click on Backup -> OK -> OK
Download last RRD backup created on DATE, TIME	Once the Data & Time is changed to Current Date and Time Click on Download Button

Backup Logs

Backup Logs will take the backup of websurfing logger.

Click on System Configuration -> Manage Data -> Backup

Backup logs (in CSV Format)
Take Backup of websurfing logger Start Date: START DATE End Date: END DATE	Click on Backup -> OK -> OK
Download last websurfing log backup created on DATE, TIME	Once the Data & Time is changed to Current Date and Time Click on below links to download the Backup from the starting date selected till the end date selected.

Now we have taken the Backup of 24online so lets also Keep the Copy of 24online Licenses so incase of any issue restoring Licenses.

There are 2 types of Licenses User Licenses and Module Licenses, follow below steps to copy both the type of licenses

User Licenses

Click on Help -> Register 24online -> Online Registration

24online Registration Form
Public Key	Copy Public Key
Product ID*	Copy Product ID
Unique ID*	Copy Unique ID

Module Licenses

Click on Help -> Register 24online -> Module Registration -> Click on the Modules and Copy the Licenses

24online Registration Form
Public Key	Copy Public Key
Product ID*	Copy Product ID
Unique ID*	Copy Unique ID

Copy all the Module Licenses Registered like PMS Integration, Wall in users, Web Surfing Logger etc..
