In the Article we will see Aruba 7200 Series Mobility Controller Initial Configuration.
Default IP Address:- 172.16.0.254
Aruba Controller Model No:- 7205
Aruba Controller Firmware:- 8.7.1.3
Connect Laptop on Port No 2 i.e 0/0/1 and Login to Controller using Default IP Address 172.16.0.254 and follow the Prompt to complete the Initial Configuration.
✦ How do you want to provision your controller? -> Tick Mark Manual and click on Next Button.
✦ How Will this Mobility Controller be deployed? -> Select Standalone Controller and Click on Next Button.
✦ Hostname: Enter Hostname -> Country Code: Select India from Drop Down list -> Admin Password:- Enter Password -> Retype Password:- Enter Password -> Time:- Select Get time from NTP Server -> NTP Server IP Address:- Enter NTP Address: 132.163.96.5 -> Timezone:- Select India: Asia/Kolkata (UTC+05:30) from drop down list and click on Next Button.
✦ Connect to AirWave: Disable and Click on Next Button.
✦ VLAN ID: Enter 1 -> Port: Select 0/0/0 -> Port Mode:- Access -> VLAN IPv4 Address:- 172.16.0.254 -> Netmask: 255.255.255.0 -> IPv4 default gateway: Blank and Click on Next Button.
✦ Licensing Tab Click on Next Button as Licenses can be Registered Later.
✦ Check the Configuration Summary and click on Deploy and Reboot Button.
✦ Note:- Now Controller will reboot.
Once Rebooted you will get GUI Access enter Username:- admin Password: Password Which was set during Initial Configuration and click on Login Button.
