In this article we will see steps to Create Hidden SSID in Aruba 7200 Series Mobility Controller.
Creating VLAN
Under Mobility Controller -> Aruba7205 -> Configuration -> Interfaces -> VLANs -> Add -> VLAN name: BOH_VLAN -> VLAN ID/Range: 1001 and Click on Submit.
Creating SSID
Under Mobility Controller -> Aruba7205 -> Configuration -> WLANs -> Click Add button -> Enter Name: BOH -> Primary usage: Select Employee -> Broadcast on: Select AP Group -> Forwarding mode: Select Tunnel and click on Next.
VLAN: Select BOH VLAN and click Next
Security Select Personal -> Key management: Select WPA3-Personal -> Passphrase: Enter Password -> Retype: Enter Password and click Next and Click on Finish and OK.
Apply Changes
Right Top click on Pending Changes -> Click on Deploy Changes to Apply the Configurations.
Hide SSID
Under Mobility Controller -> Aruba7205 -> Configuration -> System -> Profiles -> Wireless LAN -> SSID -> Select SSID Name -> Enable Hide SSID and Deny_Broadcast Probes and click Submit.
