Basic Unibox 3.1 Configuration

Lets see Basic Configuration of Unibox Gateway Version 3.1

Below are the default Interface IP Addresss:-
ETH0 IP Address:- 192.168.100.1 – (LAN PROFILE)
ETH2 IP Address:- 10.10.10.1 – (LAN PROFILE)

Below are the default Login Credentials:-
Username:- admin
Password:- admin

Step 1:- Login to Unibox GUI.
Step 2:- WAN Configuration.
Step 3:- DNS Configuration.
Step 4:- LAN Configuration.
Step 5:- Testing.
Step 6:- Apply Configuration.

Step 1:- Login to Unibox GUI.
✦ Connect laptop on Port No ETH2 and Assign IP Address to your Laptop LAN Port:- 10.10.10.2 and Subnet:- 255.255.255.0
✦ Open Web Browser like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome etc.
✦ Enter Default Unibox IP Address:- 10.10.10.1 in Web Browser and press Enter.
✦ Enter Default Username, Password and Captcha Code and click on Login Button.
✦ Unibox Graphic User Interface (GUI) will appear now.

Step 2:- WAN Configuration.
✦ Click on Network -> WAN -> Edit Default Profile -> Edit Profile Name from Wan to:- WAN1 -> Enter Connection Type:- Static -> Enter IP Address:- 192.168.1.11 -> Netmask:- 255.255.255.0 -> Gateway:- 192.168.1.1 -> Enter Trafic Share:- 100 -> Masquerade (NAT):- Tick Mark and Click on Save Button.

Step 3:- DNS Configuration.
✦ Click on Network -> DNS -> Click on Add -> Enter DNS Server IP:- 4.2.2.2 and Click on Save Button.
Note:- By Default there will Exsisting DNS:- 8.8.8.8.

Step 4:- LAN Configuration.
✦ Click on Network -> LAN -> Edit Default Profile ->Edit Profile Name from default_lan to:- GUEST_LAN -> Enter IP Address:- 172.26.0.1 -> Netmask:- 255.255.240.0 -> Enable DHCP:- Tick Mark -> DHCP Type:- Internal DHCP -> Pool Start:- 255 -> Pool End:- 4094 -> Lease Interval:- 600 -> Domain Name:- and Click on Save Button.

Step 5:- Testing.
✦ Click on Tools -> Diagnostic Tools -> Basic Tools -> Tools:- Ping -> IP Address/Domain Name:- 8.8.8.8 and click on Ping and you should get the Ping Response.

Step 6:- Apply Configuration.
✦ ON TOP RIGHT CORNER Click on -> Apply Configuration Changes-> Tick Apply new configuration-> and Click on Save Button.
