24online Captive Portal Configuration

In this article we will see how to configure 24online Captive Portal Network and Captive Portal.

Creating Captive Portal Networks

✦ Click on Config -> Manage Captive Portal Networks -> Click in Add Network -> Enter Network Id:- -> Net Mask:- and Click on Add Network Button.

Creating Captive Portal

✦ Creating HMS URL Page:- Click on Property Management -> Captive Portal -> Create Captive Portal -> Enter Client Login Template Name:- HMS URL Page -> Client Login Type:- HMS Login -> Authentication Page Type:- Pre Login Page -> Template Type:- URL and Click on Create Button and Confirm by Clicking on Yes Button.
✦ Enter URL:- http://172.26.0.1/24online/webpages/clientlogin.jsp and Click on Update Button.

✦ Creating HMS Pre Login Page:- Click on Property Management -> Captive Portal -> Create Captive Portal -> Enter Client Login Template Name:- HMS Pre Login Page -> Client Login Type:- HMS Login -> Authentication Page Type:- Pre Login Page -> Template Type:- WYSIWYG Editor and Click on Create Button.
✦ Once Login Page is Created you can edit the same as per your requirement.

✦ Creating HMS Post Login Page:- Click on Property Management -> Captive Portal -> Create Captive Portal -> Enter Client Login Template Name:- HMS Post Login Page -> Client Login Type:- HMS Login -> Authentication Page Type:- Post Login Page -> Template Type:- WYSIWYG Editor and Click on Create Button.
✦ Once Login Page is Created you can edit the same as per your requirement.

✦ Creating Coupon Pre Login Page:- Click on Property Management -> Captive Portal -> Create Captive Portal -> Enter Client Login Template Name:- Coupon Pre Login Page -> Client Login Type:- Coupon Login -> Authentication Page Type:- Pre Login Page -> Template Type:- WYSIWYG Editor and Click on Create Button.
✦ Once Login Page is Created you can edit the same as per your requirement.

✦ Creating Coupon Post Login Page:- Click on Property Management -> Captive Portal -> Create Captive Portal -> Enter Client Login Template Name:- Coupon Post Login Page -> Client Login Type:- Coupon Login -> Authentication Page Type:- Post Login Page -> Template Type:- WYSIWYG Editor and Click on Create Button.
✦ Once Login Page is Created you can edit the same as per your requirement.

Configuring Client Template

✦ Click on Property Management -> Captive Portal -> Configure Client Templates -> Select Pool -> and select the Login Pages Created for HMS Pre login page, HMS Post login page, Coupon Pre login page, Coupon Post login page and Click on Update Button.

Restart Admin GUI Service

✦ Telnet to 24online -> 5. 24online Management -> 1. 24online Services -> 2. Restart Admin GUI Services -> Type Y and click Enter.
Note:- After Restarting Admin GUI Service you will not get GUI access for around 10-15Min.
